Joshua Trees
I hope to be writing more about Joshua Tree National Park sometime.....
I find that the more I slow down to take in the beauty of the natural world around me, the more content and at peace with myself I become. Spending time with nature does not have to wait til I am in vacation, it's a daily lifestyle.
Your poem is beautiful, and your picture is beautiful. I think they are very interesting looking specimens, and with such a lovely name.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful silhouette photos, and very touching poem!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I didn't know how the Joshua Tree had received its name. Heartfelt poem and beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteI like your poem, and I like the effect of the pictures. I've heard of these trees before, but I never knew they looked so unique.
ReplyDeleteYou are right, they look like their arms were stretched out in prayers. I have learned to reach out in open arms when I sing songs of praises in the church - a gesture of acceptance and surrender to our Almighty God.
ReplyDelete..KalachuChay
The poem is good, it really fits the photo captures.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful betchai!
ReplyDeleteI just love photos of silhouettes and these are gorgeous. I especially love your second photo...the three trees. Excellent!
...continue dreaming, keeping the love alive.. for if but with a dream you stay joyously living the simple glorious life...
ReplyDeleteI dream only once or twice a month (that I remember), if I'm lucky.I love dreams, though. I only dream about important things that end up influencing a big decision with my family or something. (My mom interprets dreams so I always talk to her.Is that weird that I remember my dreams so rarely? How is it for you?
ReplyDeleteI want to have a dream like this. Love the photos too.
ReplyDeletefantastic picture!
ReplyDeleteI can sense the depth faith of a believer in your poem Betchai and I feel blessed not just by reading it but also for knowing the person behind it.
ReplyDeleteYou are such an inspiration. :)
