Day 1, November 20- We left San Diego, California and drove 475 miles to Zion National Park, Utah.

Day 2, November 21- we left Zion before the snowstorm pounded it, we passed through Page, Arizona on our way to Moab, Utah.

Day 3, November 22- hiking at Moab, Utah
We hiked the Devil's Garden Trail (click here to go to my previous post). After hiking at Devil's Garden Trail, we took another hike to Delicate Arch, our second time. ( click here to go to my post about Delicate Arch last spring 2009).

Day 4, November 23 - some hikes at Moab, then, drove back to Arizona at Monument Valley

The highlight of the day was being joined by Tes and Doods, who were also vacationing in Arizona from Houston, Texas.

Day 5, November 24 - left Monument Valley after breakfast to explore Page, Arizona with Tes and Doods.

as you can tell, there are two photographers in this pic, thus, the different direction of our sights, this pic tells how loyal we are to our photographers, I look at Khai, while Tes looked at Doods :)
After Page, we continued to Kanab, Utah.
Day 6, November 25- planned to enter the lottery to hike at the very elusive Wave, Arizona ( a dream), but no luck still this year :(, so, left Kanab for Bryce Canyon National Park, still in Utah. On our way to Bryce from Kanab, we stopped at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park again.

ReplyDeletehi "wander"woman hehehehe...enjoyed viewing the "blues" as always...i think i found you there at "north windows framing..." i laughed out loud when i read you and Tes being loyal to your photographers and thus the opposite gazes hahaha...the seal is so cute! and that sunrise at monument valley is simply amazing...oh and the photo at coral pink sand dunes state park is so lovely...the fall colors just as much...
