I find that the more I slow down to take in the beauty of the natural world around me, the more content and at peace with myself I become. Spending time with nature does not have to wait til I am in vacation, it's a daily lifestyle.

Who? @ Garrapata State Park, CA
Who is she? :) Hiking in the rain?
and then, taking photos quickly when rain stops?
ahh, the joy of being out in the wild.... rain or shine, wandering must go on. There is no bad weather they say, when you are ready to brave the storm.
I know that exact spot well.. I have a favorite shot that I took of a turquoise wave crashing against those rocks. The weather was a little better though:) That's a land of many moods around there.
You surely are a dedicated hiker and a lover of nature. Love the photos!
