Was she listening to the chirping of the birds nearby?
Or was she in deep contemplation as she watched this flower sway in the breeze?
Or was she watching someone very special to her heart?
Ahhh, there he is! The apple of her eyes! She was happy enough watching her baby play and learn more about life from a distance.
Mom....she cares enough but not too much so her baby learns life's survival skills. She painfully watches her child make mistakes yet she patiently and lovingly teach them strength and courage to recover from life's mistakes. At anytime, she is there to lend a hand.......
Moms, you are and will always be special.
I love you mom, though you may no longer be around, but your thoughts and your teachings will live in my heart, forever!
The unconditional love of a mom to her child lasts forever, a priceless gift we all were blessed enough to receive!
* all pictures were taken from the Gorilla Exhibit in San Diego Zoo Safari Park.*
I suddenly thought of my mom and miss her so much. you brought tears to my eyes this time sis. in a good way though.
ReplyDeleteMommy is the greatest blessing any child can have!
ReplyDeleteWhenever we go to the animal parks, or zoos, watching the Gorillas is a favorite. Awesome images.
ReplyDeleteyes, we should cherish our mum's love..
ReplyDeleteWhen I see apes I wonder if their thoughts are at all like ours.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos, amazing observations:) Greetings
ReplyDeleteperfecto!!
ReplyDeleteYour post reminds me of my mom. A very religious woman. Her sacrifice is the best gift of love I received, and I could not ever repay. I missed my mom.
ReplyDeleteOh! that's a wonderful words I've read this morning. You have a good imagination, Betchai and you blend well in all your photos.
ReplyDeleteThat's sweet photo. I had a teary-eye after reading the post. It's my mom's birthday today and she opt to be admitted in the hospital for general check-up, because we were not there.
ReplyDeleteI like this style of yours in bringing across an important message, few words and beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very touching story. I can relate to this much. My daughter is in the age where she starts to like being with her friends than with me. :-(
ReplyDeleteAte, I think you are a critter whisperer hehehe. What a loving photos of the mom and her baby.
ReplyDeleteindeed a motherly post...
ReplyDeleteis the baby celebrating mother's day? :))
Very touching, indeed, mothers will be always there for their kids, watch them and guide them, if only mothers will carry the burden and pains of their children i believe each mother would do that....
ReplyDeleteawwwww.... if we only we can read the animals mind, maybe we can have extended compassion with them.. this is so sweet you got it all right. Dropping by dear :)
ReplyDeleteHow touching! You must have missed your Mom so much, Te Betchai. Moms are simply the noblest person there is in the whole wide world. I better stop. I am missing my Mom, and I don't want to cry a river. Waaahhhh! :-(
ReplyDeleteyour mom is happily watching over you from heaven Beth. and she must be very proud up there for she has brought you up to an amazing woman. :)
ReplyDeleteA universal truth nicely put into pictures. Yes, Mothers are the greatest love-givers.
ReplyDeleteAwww! I love all the pictures Ms Betchai! So refreshing to look at! <3
ReplyDeleteI can't agree more on the mom-daughter-mom love. I always remind my girls that they are my most cherished treasure on earth; that no matter how big they grow and how far they'll live from me in the future, they'll always be my babies, and they'll always remain in my heart, for as long as I am alive. I am a mom, indeed! :D
As for my own Mama, argh... I hate to be reminded of being so homesick! I miss her cooking, and the way she makes me feel like a senyorita when I am home. :(
Re: Thanks for your comments nga pala! When Triz was in First Grade at the public school, all the teachers near her classroom knew her and were impressed with how polite, respectful, and friendly she is. On our first time visiting the school, I was surprised when one of the teachers approached me and the husband, letting us know that Triz is a sunshine and they look forward to seeing her every morning because of her positive spirit. It was so touching and overwhelming at the same time. I can only hope that I can continue to be the "good" parent that she sees every day. :)
Very touching dear! it just made me smile thinking that gorillas played the big role here, LOL.
ReplyDeleteI feel for you. I love my mom so much. She is the best for me. And as a MOM now, I am playing the big role my mom did to me. I know my daughter will love me the same way as I love my Mom.
That's a sweet note for your mom. I miss my mom and hopefully this year we get the chance to see each other. I also love to watch apes, especially the mom and daughter activities. I've seen the same thing in a zoo here.
ReplyDeleteA very sweet and touching moment of mom and child photos. You can really see and feel how moms love their offsprings.
ReplyDeleteA very sweet and touching moments of mom and child photo. It's really amazing how a love of mom can be felt from any race, be it also with animals.

Aw! My mom is my strength, and also my weakness... I can't imagine life without her. Human or animal, a mom will always be a mom...
