I find that the more I slow down to take in the beauty of the natural world around me, the more content and at peace with myself I become. Spending time with nature does not have to wait til I am in vacation, it's a daily lifestyle.

Whales as seen from the trail
We had been seeing whales each time we take a hike along the bluffs lately. I can't help but sing to hubby, "why do whales, suddenly appear, every time we are here. Just Like me, whales long to be....close to you!" :)
The pictures are great and your song is silly. I love both.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see whales while I'm out on a trail. I'd consider that to be a wonderful hike. Seeing whales might be pretty odd here in Iowa.
ReplyDeleteLaaaaa la la la la...close to you!!!!!! Singing with yah Betchai! I have yet to see my first whale though ☺.
ReplyDeleteThe Carpenters would love you for remembering their song.
ReplyDeleteHaha, napakanta din tuloy ako, Beth. How sweet!
ReplyDeleteHahaha, a singing Betchai.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky that they appear whenever you are near. Many doesn't have a chance to see these at all. :)
ReplyDeleteWhales are cool to see as long as they don't want to eat you. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Betchai, dropping by here to greet you a Happy Hearts' Day! Am sure you'll spend it with mother nature :) Love yah!
