Koala @ San Diego Zoo
One of my favorite exhibits at San Diego Zoo are the koalas, I simply can't help but stop by their exhibit whenever I go to the zoo. I find them so cute and so fluffy that I wish I can give them a hug or carry them in my arms. The San Diego zoo koala exhibit has the most number of koalas outside of Australia. The koalas can be found at the 3-acre Australian exhibit that features aside from the koalas, wombats, wallabies, and other Australian animals and birds.
I probably could sleep like a koala because like koalas, I too am a heavy sleeper. Koala sleep about 16-18 hours a day, and I know there are days I wish I could sleep that long too, haha.
I am glad for the pictures because I do enjoy looking at the cute koalas picture smiling at home while lazying on bean bag. I just find bean bags so comfortable and relaxing. Somehow, it seems seating on bean bags promotes happy thoughts which include happy thoughts with the koalas, and relieves body pains from a day's work.
What's a Koalafornia Dreaming for me? Hmmmm, not simply going to Australia to see the natural habitat of the koalas, but to enjoy long hours of sleep and doing nothing. :) Well, not everyday though.
I love you play on words. Inventive.
ReplyDeleteI love koalas. I'm not sure I've ever actually seen one at the zoo myself. I did see a fat little squirrel that kind of looked like one though.
ReplyDeleteYou took beautiful photos of them, Betchai! They are so cute!
ReplyDeleteI have not seen or touch a real life Koala. Hopefully one of these days will be able to
